Educational Qualification:
(A) Till Last Date for submitting the application, the Candidate must be a Bachelor of Laws of a University established by Law in U.P. or any other University of India recognised for this purpose by the Governor, Or
(B) Must be an Advocate enrolled under the provisions of the Advocate Act 1961 or a Barrister of England or Northern Ireland or a Member Faculty of Advocates in Scotland and is entitled to practice in the Court or Courts subordinate thereto;
(C) Must possess a thorough Knowledge of Hindi in Devnagri Script.

Age Limit:
A candidate for direct recruitment to the service must have attained the age of 22 years and must not have attained the age more than 35 years on the first day of July next following the year i.e. 01.07.2019. They must not have been born after 1st July, 1997 and not before 2nd July, 1984.

UP Civil Judge Examination Syllabus

How to Apply:



 (a) On-Line Applications will be accepted only when prescribed fee is deposited in the Bank upto prescribed last date for fee deposition. If the fee is deposited in Bank after the last date prescribed for fee deposition, the on-line application of the candidate will not be accepted and the fee deposited in the Bank will not be refunded in any condition. It will be responsibility of the candidates to deposit fee in the Bank upto the last date prescribed for fee deposition and to ‘submit’ the application upto the last date prescribed for submission of applications. It is also informed that less or more amount deposited in the form of examination fee shall not be refunded in any condition.
(b) In Online Application System, the candidates have to provide their Mobile No. and valid e-mail ID in prescribed column failing which their Basic Registration shall not be completed. All relevant informations/ instructions shall be sent through SMS on that mobile and e-mail on their e-mail ID.

First Stage:
On clicking “Apply”, Candidate Registration will be displayed. Basic Registration form will be displayed on clicking the ‘Candidate Registration’ respective to Examination. After filling the Basic Registration form, the candidates must check all the informations filled by them. If any correction / modification is required, click on "Edit" button and ensure the required corrections / modifications. After being fully satisfied with all the informations filled, click on ‘Submit Application’. Consequently, the registration of first stage shall be over. Thereafter “Print Registration Slip” shall be displayed and Print of Registration Slip must be taken by clicking on Print Registration Slip.

Second Stage:
After the completion of the procedure of first stage, ‘Fee to be deposited [in INR]’ shall be displayed with caption “Click here to proceed for payment”. After clicking the above caption of “Click here to proceed for payment”, home page of State Bank MOPS (Multi Option Payment System) shall be displayed comprising of 03 modes of payment viz. (i) NET BANKING (ii) CARD PAYMENTS and (iii) OTHER PAYMENT MODES. After depositing the required fee by any one of the above prescribed modes, “Payment Acknowledgement Receipt (PAR)” shall be displayed along with detail of fee deposition, the print of which must be taken by clicking on “Print Payment Receipt.”


Third Stage
The candidates are required to enter all the required informations in the format.The photo and signature, duly scanned shall be uploaded also.


Application Fee: In the ON-LINE Application process, after completing the procedure of first stage, Category wise prescribed examination fee is to be deposited as per instructions provided in second stage. The prescribed fee of Preliminary examination for different categories is as under:-
(i) Unreserved / Other – Exam fee Rs. 100/- + On-line processing Backward Class fee Rs. 25/- Total = Rs. 125/-
(ii) Scheduled Caste / – Exam fee Rs. 40/- + On-line processing Scheduled Tribe fee Rs. 25/- Total = Rs. 65/-

Eligibility Criteria
For admission to LL.M. Part I, a candidate should have secured at least 55% marks in aggregate in LL.B. (Three-Year/Five Year) degree examination of Punjabi University or an equivalent examination from any other statutory university. Provided that in case a candidate has passed LL.B. (Two-Year) degree examination at such time when he was eligible to get himself enrolled as Advocate under Bar Council rules at that time, his marks in LL.B. Part I and LL.B. Part II examinations in aggregate will be taken into consideration, subject to the condition that it will also be essential for him for the purpose of eligibility that he has not secured less that 55% marks in aggregate in LL.B. Part I and LL.B. part II examinations.

Selection Procedure:
Admission to LL.M. course shall be based on the merit of candidates determined by the result of Entrance Test to be conducted by the Punjabi University, Patiala.
A candidate is required to qualify in the Entrance Test by securing at least 25% marks.
There will be 100 questions of four (4) marks each.
Paper will be of two hours duration.
There shall be negative marking in the evaluation of questions, i.e. one (1) mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
There will be only one test centre i.e. PUNJABI UNIVERSITY CAMPUS, PATIALA.

Eligibility:

The IMU- CET application form will be made available through the following channels:
  • The application form along with the information brochure can be bought at selected branches of Indian Bank by paying Rs. 1000 (Rs 500 in case of SC/ST/DA candidates).
  • Download the application form, information brochure and payment challan online at http:/ /www.imu.tn.nic.in . The fee of Rs. 1000 (Rs 500 in case of SC/ST/DA candidates) can be paid through challan payable at any of the SBI/Indian Bank branches all over India.

National Law University, Orissa invites application for following courses for academic year 2011

B.A.LL.B. (Hons.) and B.B.A.LL.B (Hons.) Undergraduate Degree Programmes
ELIGIBILITY: Senior Secondary School Examination (10+2 system) or equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in aggregate. (SC / ST candidates can apply with 45% marks). Those who have appeared for the qualifying examination in March / April, 2011 may also apply).

Conjoint LL.M – Ph.D Degree Program
ELIGIBILITY: Candidate should have passed B.A.LL.B. /LL.B. /B.L. degree or an equivalent degree from a recognized University and must have secured at least 60% of marks in the aggregate of the maximum marks prescribed. Candidates awaiting results of the qualifying examination can also appear for the test on the condition that they will have to produce at the time of admission proof of having passed the qualifying examination with the prescribed marks.

University of Allahabad - LL.M Admission Test 2011




Faculty of Law, University of Allahabad invites application for LL.M. for academic year 2011 through L.L.M. 2011 Admission Test.

Eligibility:
The candidate must have obtained LL.B. Degree from any University recognized by U.G.C. and the candidate should have obtained at least 45% marks in the aggregate in the said class.
However, the candidates who have appeared in LL.B. III Year (LL.B. Final Year) class are also eligible to apply and appear in the LL.M. Admission Test. But such candidate must have passed and produce LL.B. Final Year Mark sheets on or before the date of admission, failing which their claim to admission shall stand forfeited.

How to apply:
Forms are available online on the website www.llm2011.com for downloading and can also be physically taken from S.B.I., A.U. Branch from 11th April, 2011 to 30th April, 2011. There is no online submission of form.
The candidates using the down loaded form shall attach a demand draft of Rs. 600 (for Gen/OBC) and Rs. 300 (for SC/ST/PH candidate) in favour of Finance Officer, University of Allahabad, Allahabad.
Duly filled application forms must only be submitted physically at the Faculty of Law, University of Allahabad between 11.00 A.M. and 2 P.M. from 11th April to 30th April, 2011 on all working days.

OCET 2011 Panjab University




Punjab University invite application based on entrance examination OCET 2011 for academic year 2011 for the following courses:

Bachelor of Laws (LL.B)
Eligibility: Those candidates who have passed / appeared in the final year of Bachelor’s degree in any faculty of the Panjab University with at least 45% of the aggregate marks (40% for SC/ST candidates)
 Or
Master’s Degree in any subject from the Panjab University. Or A Master’s degree from any other university recognised as equivalent to the corresponding post-graduate degree of the Panjab University.
Master of Laws (L.L.M.)
Eligibility: The Entrance Test is open to all those candidates who have passed/appeared in the final year of LL.B. degree (3-Year Course) and B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) 5 year integrated course of the Panjab University Or an equivalent degree of another University recognized as equivalent to the Panjab University.

Eligibility: BCA/B.Sc. (Hons. School) in Computer Science/ B. Tech./ B.E. (Computer Science/ Engineering) or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto with 50% marks.

M.Sc. (Two Year Course) Bioinformatics
Eligibility: Bachelor’s degree in Science (General or Honours) with Biochemistry, Biology, Botany, Chemistry, Electronics, Genetics, Life Science, Mathematics, Mathematics & computing, Microbiology, Physics, Statistics and Zoology, Agriculture, computer Science, Engineering, Medicine, Pharmacy, Technology and Veterinary Science with at least 60% marks (55% for candidates belonging to SC/ST category).

M.Sc. (Two Year Course) Biotechnology
Eligibility: Bachelor’s degree (under the 10+2+3 pattern of Education) in Physical, Biological, Pharmaceutical, Agricultural, Veterinary or Fishery Sciences or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology, Home Science, Medicine (MBBS) from any University/ Institute recognized by the Panjab University. The candidate must have obtained at least 55% marks at the Bachelor’s degree level.

M.Sc. (Two Year Course) Botany
Eligibility: B.Sc. pass with Botany having at least 50% marks in the aggregate from Panjab University or from any other University recognized by Panjab University Syndicate as equivalent thereto.

M.Sc. (Two Year Course) Physics & Chemistry
Eligibility: B. Sc. Honours School examination of the Panjab University in the subject of M. Sc. Course
 OR
B. Sc. examination of the Panjab University securing at least 50% marks in aggregate and with Physics & Mathematics for M.Sc. Physics Course and with Chemistry & Mathematics for M. Sc. Chemistry course along with anyone of the following subjects: Biochemistry, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Physics, Statistics, Zoology

M.Sc. (Two Year Course) Medical Physics
Eligibility: B.Sc. first class with physics as one of the core subject from recognized University.

M.Sc. (Two Year Course) Nuclear Medicine
Eligibility: B.Sc. with at least 50% marks in the aggregate from Panjab University or from any other University recognized by the Syndicate or equivalent thereto with Physics and Chemistry OR Chemistry and Biology as Core subjects. Candidates having B.Sc. in Nuclear Medicine/ Radiation Science, Biophysics and Pharmacy shall also be eligible.

M.Sc. (Two Year Course) Zoology
Eligibility: B.Sc. with Zoology having at least 50% marks in the aggregate from Panjab University or from any other University recognized by the Syndicate as equivalent thereto.

M. Sc. Microbial Biotechnology
Eligibility: Graduates from Science/Engineering stream or any other stream with Honours in Geography as one of the subjects from Panjab University or any other University recognised by Panjab University as equivalent thereto.

M.Sc. (Human Genomics)
Eligibility: B. Sc. (Pass or Honours) under 10+2+3 pattern examination of the Panjab University or any other examination recognised by the Panjab University as equivalent thereto in Physical, Chemical, Biological, Pharmaceutical Sciences or Medicine with at least 55% marks.

M.Sc. (System Biology and Bioinformatics)
Eligibility: B. Sc. (Hons. School) in Biochemistry/Biophysics/Biotechnology/Zoology Or B.Sc/B.Sc. Hons. In Bioinformatics/Biotechnology. Or  B.Sc. with Bioinformatics/Biotechnology as one of the Subjects.

HOW TO APPLY:
Prospectus including OMR Application Forms are available on payment of Rs. 1600/- (Rs. 800/- for SC/ST Category) in the Post Offices at Chandigarh. Form can also available by post from the Manager Publication Bureau, P.U. Chandigarh on payment of Rs. 1700/- (General Category) (Rs. 900/- for SC/ST Category) through Bank Draft only drawn in favour of the Registrar, P.U. Chandigarh, payable at Chandigarh.
