Goa CET 2011
- First Year MBBS, BDS and BHMS: Applicant should have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate (Std. XII) examination of Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with English and secured not less than 50% marks in the aggregate of subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology taken together at one and the same sitting. (40% for the applicants belonging to SC, ST and OBC only and 45% for applicants belonging to PH category for MBBS Course).
- First Year B.E:The applicant should have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (Std.XIIth) examination of the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with English, Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with one of the following subjects Chemistry/Bio-Technology/Computer Science /Biology and secured not less than 50% marks in the aggregate of subjects of Physics & Mathematics with one of the following subjects Chemistry/Bio-Technology/Computer Science/Biology, obtained in one and the same sitting. (45% for the applicants belonging to SC, ST and OBC only).
- First Year B. Pharm. Sc.: The applicant should have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (Std.XIIth) examination of the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with English, Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects with one of the following subjects Mathematics/Bio-Technology/Computer Science /Biology and secured not less than 50% marks in the aggregate of subjects of Physics & Chemistry with one of the following subjects Mathematics/Bio-Technology/Computer Science/Biology, obtained in one and the same sitting. (45% for the applicants belonging to SC, ST and OBC only). As per Pharmacy Council of India Regulations, candidates passing Senior Secondary School examination conducted by National Open School, New Delhi are not approved/eligible for admissions to B.Pharm.Sc.
- First Year B.Arch.: The applicant should have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (Std.XIIth) examination of the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with Mathematics as one of the subjects and secured at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% aggregate marks for applicants belonging to SC/ST/OBC). OR 10+3 Diploma (any stream) recognised by Central/State Governments with 50% aggregate marks. OR International Baccalaureate Diploma, after 10 years of schooling, with not less than 50% marks in aggregate and with Mathematics as compulsory subject of examination. Applicants scoring minimum 80/200 at NATA will be eligible for admission to B.Arch.
- Kashmiri Migrants Only in Engineering Courses: The applicant should have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (Std.XIIth) examination or its equivalent examination with English, Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with one of the following subjects Chemistry/Bio-Technology/Computer Science/Biology and secured not less than 50% marks in the subjects of Physics & Mathematics with one of the following subjects Chemistry/Bio-Technology/Computer Science/Biology, obtained in one and the same sitting.
- Admission of Eligible Diploma/B.Sc. Degree holders to First Year of Engineering/Pharmacy Degree Courses: Candidates who have passed Diploma in Engineering /B.Sc Degree with Mathematics as a subject at Std XIIth , with at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC), shall be eligible for admission to First Year of Engineering Degree/Pharmacy Courses, subject to vacancies in First Year, after vacancies at Lateral Entry into Direct Second Year are exhausted.

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for appearing to Physical Education Common Entrance Test (PECET-2011) for admission into approved B.P.Ed & U.G.D.P.Ed courses offered by the Universities and affiliated colleges in the state for the Academic year 2011-12.
ELIGIBILITY FOR B.P.Ed: Candidates should have appeared or passed three year degree examination recognized by any university in A.P. or any other university recognized as equivalent thereto and should have completed 19 years of age on 01.07.2011.
ELIGIBILITY FOR U.G.D.P.Ed: Candidates should have appeared or passed Intermediate or equivalent course recognized by the Government of Andhra Pradesh and should have completed 16 years of age on 01.07.2011.
How to Apply:
Candidates can be obtained in person from the following centres on submission of D.D for Rs. 350/- drawn in favour of “SECRETARY, A.P. STATE COUNCIL OF HIGHER EDUCATION”, payable at Hyderabad. Application can be obtained by post from the Convener, by sending the DD along with self addressed envelope size (31cmsX25cms) bearing postal stamps worth of Rs.35/- from 16th March, 2011.
