Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering & Technology (SLIET) is a Deemed-to-be-University and a national level Institute established by Government of India through Ministry of Human Resource Development. Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering & Technology invites application for M.Sc & PhD Course for academic year 2011
1) M.Sc – Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics
Eligibility: 50% marks (45% in case of candidates belonging to reserved categories) in the aggregate in qualifying examination as mentioned hereunder:
(i) M.Sc. (Physics): Recognized Bachelor’s Degree with Physics as main subject.
(ii) M.Sc. (Chemistry): Recognized Bachelor’s Degree with Chemistry as main subject.
(iii) M.Sc. (Mathematics): Recognized Bachelors Degree (B.A./B.Sc.) with Mathematics
2) PhD.
Eligibility:
Master’s Degree in Engineering/Technology/Science/Humanities, Management with 55% of marks (50% for SCIST)

Chemical Technology, Food Engg. & Tech., Chemistry, Management, Computer Sc. & Engg., Mathematics, Electrical & Instrumentation Engg.., Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Comm. Engg., Physics, English

The Brochure containing information about the Institute, syllabi for Entrance Test for different programmes and application form for Entrance Test may be downloaded from Institute website www.sliet.ac.in The complete application form along with examination fee of Rs.600/- (Rs.3001- for SC/ST) (in the form of Bank Demand Draft or Cash Receipt of Institute) should be sent to the Chairman, SET-2011, Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering & Technology, Longowal148106, Distt.Sangrur(Punjab)on or before May, 30, 2011.
