MH-SSET 2011 - Superspeciality Entrance Examination for DM / MCh




Directorate of Medical Education & Research, Government of Maharashtra invites application for MH-SSET 2011 - Superspeciality Entrance Examination for DM / MCh Courses for academic year 2011

ELIGIBILITY:
A candidate will be eligible for MH-SSET 2011 and for selection/admission to a course in Superspeciality if fulfills following conditions.

  • The candidate must be an Indian national.

  • The candidate must possess recognized post graduate degree MD/MS (or its equivalent) from a medical college recognized by MCI. Candidates who have appeared MD/MS or equivalent examinations are also eligible to submit application forms. However, they will be considered for selection, on production of passing certificate of post graduation degree on the date of preference form filling and counseling.

  • A permanent MCI/Maharashtra Medical Council (MMC)/any other state council registration is a precondition for appearing for MH-SSET.

  • The minimum percentage of marks secured by the candidates in the MH-SSET 2011 for the purpose of eligibility for admission to Superspeciality courses shall be 50% for all the candidates.

  • A candidate who has already acquired a Superspeciality degree course in any one discipline and who has already completed the course is not eligible to apply for any other discipline.

  • Candidate who are presently under going Superspeciality course in one discipline are not eligible to apply for any other discipline.

  • Submission of application forms at (GMC, Mumbai, B.J.M.C., Pune, GMC, Aurangabad, GMC, Nagpur).: 25/05/2011 to 04/06/2011

  • Date of receiving of Admit Cards from DMER office: 14/06/2011 onwards

  • Date of Examination - : 21/06/2011 (Tuesday)

  • Centre of examination (Place - Mumbai) : As indicated in Admit Card

  • Schedule of Examination:
            a) Entry in Examination Hall : 9.15 a.m. Long bell
            b) Distribution of answer sheets : 9.40 a.m.
            c) Distribution of question booklets : 9.50 a.m.
            d) Examination Commences : 10.00 a.m. Long bell
            e) Latest Entry permitted in Examination Hall (No candidate will be permitted after 10.00 a.m. under any circumstances.) : 10.00 a.m.
            f) Examination concludes : 12.30 p.m. Long bell

  • Declaration of Provision Result & Provisional Merit list: By 02/07/2011
  • Last Date of Submission of Application form for Verification of Marks to DMER Office : 05/07/2011
  • Declaration of Final Merit List: 08/07/2011
  • Issue of Mark sheet from DMER office: 11/07/2011
  • Preference form filling & Counseling at Mumbai: 15/07/2011
  • Publication of list of candidates selected: 16/07/2011
