Nirma University invites Applications for Admission in M.Tech. and Ph.D programmes 2011.
M.Tech.
Eligibility:
A student seeking admission to any Programme must fulfill the following criteria:
He should have passed the qualifying examination of Bachelor of Engineering / Bachelor of Technology from a recognized university with minimum 50% marks (or equivalent cumulative grade point index),
OR
He should have passed any other qualifying degree / diploma examination considered as equivalent by Nirma University (with minimum 50% marks or equivalent CPI).
Ph.D
Eligibility:
(a) The candidate holding Master’s degree or equivalent in the concerned field, excluding MCA, with M 55% or equivalent grade will be considered eligible for registration for the Degree of Doctor of Philosophy in the relevant Programme.
(b) However, for the Faculty of Technology & Engineering, a First Class Bachelor’s degree in concerned field OR MCA OR equivalent examination, like that of M. Sc. (IT), etc., as recognized and considered equivalent by the University, and work experience of 2 years’ in R&D related work in research organization or institute will also be considered eligible.

The Application form along with relevant information is to be downloaded from the website www.nirmauni.ac.in from 16th May 2011 onwards. The duly filled in downloaded form along with a Demand Draft of Rs.1000/- drawn in favour of “Institute of Technology, Nirma University” payable at Ahmedabad is to be submitted at the below mentioned address so as to reach by 18th June.
