Gujarat University, B.K. School of Management invites application for MBA Evening course for Executives for academic year 2011
Eligibility Criteria:
1. A minimum Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks (SC/ST 45%) in aggregate under the 10+2+3/11+4 or its equivalent in any field recognized by Gujarat University.
2. The applicants should have a minimum of three years’ Administrative/ Managerial/Professional/Teaching experience by July 31, 2011. The experience should be after graduation and at least at junior officer’s level. The experience will be considered only after the date of graduation mark sheet. During the three years of experience, the applicant should be working on a full time basis. Part time/casual employment will not be considered as relevant. The period of experience should exclude the period during which any full time educational course was pursued by the applicant. Experience such as trainee/apprentice/clerk/operator/ assistant/front-line sales person or similar positions will not be considered. Teaching experience should be at a college or University level in a field related to management. Administrative experience should be at least of supervisory level. Running of tuition classes or similar activities would not be considered as relevant experience for the programme.
3. The candidates must be working and residing within a radius of about 40 kms of Gujarat University campus at the time of application and admission.
HOW TO APPLY
The admission to the MBA Evening Programme 2011-14, will be based on the rank obtained in GCET 2011 for MBA being conducted by the Gujarat Technological University, which is conducting the test as the nodal agency. The advertisement for the same has appeared in major newspapers of Gujarat State. The particulars for GCET 2011 can be accessed from Gujarat Technological University website: gtu.ac.in. The intending applicants for the programme should apply for taking GCET 2011 for MBA.
After applying for GCET 2011, the intending applicants should download the School’s application form from the Gujarat University website and the duly filled in application, along with cash or demand draft for Rs.200/- drawn in favour of the Registrar, Gujarat University and payable at Ahmedabad, as application form fee, should be submitted in person to the B.K. School of Business Management, Gujarat University, Ahmedabad 380009 latest by July 15, 2011.
As soon as the GCET 2011 merit position is announced by the GCET authorities, the applicants should immediately inform their merit position in writing with proof to the B.K. School. Thereafter the merit list for the programme and the counselling schedule will be announced on the notice board of B.K. School and the Gujarat University website: gujaratuniversity.org.in or gujaratuniversity.ac.in. No written personal communication will be sent.
