Minimum Eligibility:
(i) The candidate must have passed Graduation or equivalent examinations with minimum of 50 per cent marks with Hons. for admission in Postgraduate courses.
(ii) The candidate must have passed Higher Secondary/Intermediate or equivalent examinations (+2) with minimum of 50 per cent marks for Undergraduate Course.
However, the candidates opting for BCA must have Maths and / or Physics in the qualifying examination. Candidates appearing in the Final Year of the qualifying examination may also apply and appear in the Test. However, the candidate must pass the qualifying examination and produce its mark sheet at the time of counselling.
(iii) For Admission in Under Graduate Courses the candidate must not exceed the age of 22 years as on July 1, 2011. However, age relaxation will be given to the SC/ST/PH candidates according to the Govt. of India rules.
(iv)If an applicant is inadvertently allowed to appear at the Entrance Test who otherwise does not fulfill the minimum eligibility requirements at the time of admission, he/she cannot, at a later date, use that as a right to claim their admission in the University.
How to Apply:
Admission Brochure and Application form can be obtained on payment of Rs. 150/-(Rs.100/- for SC/ST) in Cash or Demand Draft from University office at Amarkantak and Regional Campus, Manipur. Application form can also be obtained by Post by Sending a DD of Rs. 200/- (Rs.150/- for SC/ST). The Demand Draft should be in favour of “INDIRA GANDHI NATIONAL TRIBAL UNIVERSITY” payable at State Bank of India Amarkantak (Code No. 04674). The Last date for Submission of duly filled Admission form is 11.07.2011. The Admission in all faculties will be done only through All India Entrance Examination, which will be held at Amarkantak and Regional Campus Manipur.
