Counseling Dates:
The Registration for counseling for admission to Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) course shall be held on Monday, June 27, 2011 from 09:00 A.M. onwards at Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences, HIHT University. Candidates on merit wise rank 1 to 70 in the Pre-Medical Entrance Examination (PMEE) - 2011 (held on Friday, 3rd June 2011) shall report for registration at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, 27th/June/2011. Whereas candidates on merit list no. 71 to 120 & Uttarakhand domiciled candidates on rank nos.132,133,135,160,166,178,182, 183,197,212,214,216,267,283,291,296,305 & 307 shall report for registration at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, 27th/June/2011.
Seats Available - As per item 4 of PMEE - 2011 information Brochure, 30 out of total of 100 seats is earmarked for domiciles of Uttarakhand. Scholarship - As per item 17 of information brochure.
ALLOTMENT
After the Registration, allotment of seats will also be done on Monday , June 27 , 2011 from 10:00 A.M. onward. Candidates will remain present in person or through authorized representative with the following documents in original.

ALLOTMENT
After the Registration, allotment of seats will also be done on Monday , June 27 , 2011 from 10:00 A.M. onward. Candidates will remain present in person or through authorized representative with the following documents in original.
(a) Call letter for counseling.
(b) Admit Card of PMEE - 2011.
(c) High School or equivalent (10th) certificate as proof of date of birth.
(d) Certificate of the qualifying examination (12th).
(e) Mark sheet of the qualifying examination (12th).
(f) Recent Character certificate from the school / college last attended / Gazetted Officer.
(g) Transfer Certificate/School leaving certificate.
(h) Migration Certificate.
(i) Caste Certificate, if applicable.
(j) Gap Year Affidavit (If applicable).
(k) Domicile Certificate, only for Uttarakhand domiciled candidates.
(l) Six recent coloured passport size photographs & Two stamp size photographs.
(m) Two Blank Stamp Papers of Rs. 10/- each to give affidavit against ragging.
(n) Authorization letter (If applicable).
(o) Two sets of photocopies of all the original documents.
Call letters are being sent to individual candidates, by registered post. In case a candidate, on the above mentioned ranks does not receive it, he/she should also report for counseling.
Along with the original documents, candidates are adviced to bring (a D.D. of Rs. 5,81000 - complete fee). Minimum of Rs. 35000/- (Cash/D.D./Multicity Cheque), being the admission fee, is a must.
Rest of the fee, for candidates allotted a seat, can be deposited latest by July/09th/2011.
Enrollment fee of Rs. 500/- shall be charged extra.
Note :- No allotment will be done without depositing the admission fee (i.e. Rs. 35000/-).
Fees Details :
Admission Fee : Rs. 35,000/- (One time at the time of admission)
Tution Fee : Rs. 4,80,000/- (For first year)
Hostel Fee : Rs. 30,000/- (per annum - For first year)
Mess Fee : Rs. 30,000/- (per annum - For first year)
Others : Rs. 6,000/- (per annum)
Total : Rs. 5, 81,000/-
* University examination fees will be charged extra as applicable from time to time.
Mode of payment:
A Demand Draft / Cheque on par issued by State Bank of India of Rs. 5,81,000/- Rupees five lac eighty one thousand only) should be drawn in favour of "HIHT University” payable at SBI, branch code - 10580 , HIHT , Jolly Grant, Dehradun.
OR
A Demand Draft/Multicity cheque of any nationalized bank of Rs. 5,81,000/- (Rupees five lac eighty one thousand only) should be drawn in favour of "HIHT University" payable at Rishikesh.
Candidate who has been allotted the seat shall deposit the fees on the same day or latest by (09th July, 2011) after the Medical Examination.
All allotments are subject to verification of authenticity of facts from the original certificates / documents of the candidates. The decision of the Allotment Committee regarding the eligibility of any applicant shall be final. If any candidate fails to appear for counseling in person or through an authorized representative, he/she will not be entitled to any claim for seat in MBBS course.
