Sikkim Manipal University invites application for admissions in B.Sc. (Nursing) & Post Certificate BSc (Nursing) for the academic year 2011.

1) BSc (Nursing)

Eligibility: 

• Minimum age for admission is 17 years on or before 31st December 2011
• The minimum educational requirement shall be the passing of Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (10+2), OR 
• An equivalent with 12 years schooling from a recognized board or university with Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) & English, with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks (PCBE) for general candidates, 5% relaxation for North Eastern states and SC, ST & OBC candidates.
• Candidate should be medically fit
• Only for Female Candidates

2) Post Certificate BSc (Nursing)

Eligibility:

• Pass in GNM after 10+2 or equivalent preferably with science subjects. Candidates should be a registered nurse midwife or equivalent with any State Nursing Council.
• Only for Female Candidate.
• Candidate should be medically fit

SELECTION PROCESS:

Admission in BSc (Nursing) will be on the basis of merit in the Entrance Examination conducted by SMU.
