Eligibility:

A pass in 10+2 examination or intermediate examination or the first year of the three year degree course or pre-degree examination or an equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Biology / Mathematics / Biotechnology / Computer Science.

           

Admission Procedure

The admissions would be given strictly in accordance with merit list prepared on the basis of percentage of marks obtained in the science subjects in the qualifying examination (10+2 or equivalent) and the order of choices / options filled in by the candidates in the on-line application form. The candidates are advised to exercise their choices / options very carefully. In case of any other mode of admission (e.g. common entrance test depending on the number of applications received), separate instructions / guidelines will be provided to the candidates through newspapers / website etc. The decision of RUHS shall be final and binding to all. Candidates are advised to secure information regarding the admission from the RUHS website.

The entrance examination for the Post Graduate Courses in the private unaided Ayurved colleges in the State of Maharashtra for the Academic year 2011-12 shall be conducted by the Competent Authority appointed by the Association of Management of Ayurvedic Medical Colleges of Maharashtra (AMAMCM). Eligibility:

National Institute of Homoeopathy invites application for BHMS (Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine & Surgery) Entrance Examination for Academic year 2011

Eligibility:

Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary (10+2) or its equivalent examination with five subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English and obtained 50% marks in aggregate (45% marks for the Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe) are eligible to apply.

Candidates should attain 17 years of age by 31st December, 2011. For the candidates who have appeared for Higher Secondary (10+2), candidature will be taken into consideration provided that the result of that examination is published before the admission and they have secured the required percentage of marks which has to be substantiated by production of documentary proof. Blind (including colour blind), deaf, and /or dumb candidates are not eligible to apply for the course.

Selection Procedure:

Admissions through All India Entrance Examination will be held for seats other than those that were specified in the notice published In the Employment News (16-22 April 2011). Reservation including to those belonging to Orthopedically Challenged (OC)/OBC category will be made as per extant reservation instructions. The candidates who are desirous of availing such reservation facilities under OBC quota are required to enclose attested copy of their OBC certificate issued by appropriate authority alongwith a declaration that she/he does not belongs to creamy layer of the society (for the format see the Institute website).

The All-India Admission Test will be of three hours duration. The pattern of questions will be of Multiple Choice 200 Questions - Physics (60 questions), Chemistry (60 questions), Biology (60 questions) and General Knowledge (20 questions). There will be Negative marking for wrong answers.

Filled in application (In candidate’s own handwriting) is to be sent alongwith Bank Draft for Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) in favour of Director, National Institute of Homoeopathy, payable at Kolkata (IPO/Cheque/Cash/ Money Order will not be accepted). No Bank Draft is required in case of SC/ST candidates but a copy of caste certificate attested by a Gazetted Officer should accompany the application. Eligibility:

B.Sc. Nursing (4 years) – only for female candidates

The minimum educational requirement shall be 10+2 examination passed with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English or any other examination as equivalent thereto with at least 50% in aggregate. Candidates appearing in April-May 2011 can also apply for the said exam, but they will be issued roll numbers only if they furnish the certificates from the respective Boards of their having passed the +2 examination (15 days by post or 5 days by hand) before the date of entrance test.

AGE LIMIT: Not more than 25 years and not less than 17 years on 1st September, 2011 i.e. those born after 1st September, 1994 and before 1st September 1986 are not eligible.

a. Must have passed 10+2 or any other examination or its equivalent thereto.

b. Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife qualified from a recognized institute and registered with respective State Nursing Council as approved by Indian Nursing Council (I.N.C) or substitute registration in case of male candidates fully qualified for nursing of men, women and children.

M.Sc. Nursing

a. B.Sc. Nursing/B.Sc. Nursing (Post-Basic) or any other degree from the Institution recognized by the

Indian Nursing Council and PGIMER Chandigarh as equivalent thereto with at least 55% marks in aggregate.

b. Should have minimum one year of work experience after registration as Registered Nurse & Registered Midwife by 15th July of the year in bedside nursing or public health nursing or in nursing educational institutions recognized by the Indian Nursing Council after B.Sc. Nursing (4 years) or before and after Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing.

c. Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife as approved by INC or substitute registration in the case of male candidates fully qualified for nursing of men, women and children.

Eligibility

(i) Should be an Indian Citizen

(ii) Should have passed the MBBS and PG Degree (MD/MS) from any of the Medical Colleges in India, recognized by the Medical Council of India or DNB from an institute in India, approved by the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi.

Himalaya Institute of Medical Sciences invites application for admission into Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) Course for the Academic Year -2011 - 2012 through Pre Medial Entrance Exam 2011.

Eligibility:

Age: Only those candidates, whose date of birth falls on or before 31st December, 1994 (minimum 17 years of age as on 31st December, 2011) are eligible to apply. Only date of birth recorded int he High School/ICSE or its equivalent certificate will be accepted. The Upper Age limit shall be 25 years as on 31.12.2011.

Minimum Qualification: The candidates must have passed the 10+2, i.e. C.B.S.E/ I.S.C/ Intermediate Board Examination or its equivalent, after a period of 12 years of study, the last two years of such study, comprising of physics, chemistry biology/biotechnology and English from a recognized Board. The Candidates must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 60% (For SC/ST/OBC candidates 50%) marks in aggregate taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology and at-least 50% (For SC/ST/OBC candidates 40%) marks separately in each of the above subjects in the qualifying examination.

The candidates who are appearing for the qualifying examination and whose results are not yet available, are also eligible to appear in the PMEE-2011 but such candidates should submit the mark-sheet of the qualifying examination on or before 15.06.2011, such candidates shall not be eligible for admission to the MBBS course, if they do not fulfill the eligibility criteria.

B.L.D.E. University invites Application for admission to MBBS course for academic year 2011 through All India Undergraduate Medical Entrance Test– 2011 (BLDEU-UGET-2011 )

Eligibility:

The candidate should have completed 17 years of age on or before 31st December 2011.

Candidates should have passed the qualifying examination which is 2nd PUC or 10+2 higher secondary or equivalent examination. The last two years of study should have comprised of Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) subjects with English as a compulsory subject. The candidates must have passed these subjects individually.

The minimum percentage of marks for Admission to Under Graduate Courses shall be 50% for candidates belonging to General Category, 45% for candidates with locomotor disability of lower limbs and 40 percent for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward classes.
