Government of Tamil Nadu, Tamil Nadu, Health & Family Welfare Department Post Basic B.Sc Nursing Course For Trained Nurses Admission Notification 2011




Government of Tamil Nadu invites application for Post Basic B.Sc Nursing Course for academic year 2011.

Eligibility:
Candidates who have studied XI & XII standards & Diploma in Nursing in Tamil Nadu need not enclose the “Nativity Certificate” Candidates who are natives of Tamil Nadu but studied XI & XII Standards & Diploma in Nursing either partly or completely outside Tamil Nadu should produce the “Nativity Certificate”.

Candidates belonging to all categories should have passed Diploma in Nursing Examination with a pass in the Higher Secondary or Senior Secondary or Intermediate or HSC or an equivalent examination recognized by the University.
Candidates should have obtained a Diploma Certificate in General Nursing and Midwifery and registered as R.N.R.M. with the State Nurses and Midwives Council. Candidates should have put in a minimum of two years of experience on or before 31.05.2011 as a nurse in any Government Hospital / Institution or other Hospitals subsequent to completion of the course.

Selection Procedure:
All selections for B.Sc. (Nursing) Course for Trained Nurses are only provisional.
The selection will be made on merit basis and by counselling applying the Rule of reservation / Roster method followed by Government of Tamil Nadu whichever is applicable.

How To Apply:
Candidates seeking admission under special category for Post Basic B. Sc (Nursing) (Orthopedically Physically disabled) shall submit a separate Special category. Form along with the main application in the prescribed format available with an additional fee of 100 by way of a DD for the special category enclosing the relevant certificates.
