Gujarat Forensic Sciences University invites application for MPhil in Clinical Psychology for academic year 2011
Eligibility:
Minimum educational requirement for admission to this course will be M.A. /M.Sc in Psychology / MPsy In Clinical Psychology full time degree from a university recognized by the UGC with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate, preferably with special paper in Clinical Psychology/Applied Psychology. For SC/ST/OBC category, minimum of 50% marks in aggregate is essential, as per GOI.
Admission Procedure
Admissions will be based purely on the merits obtained in the entrance test. Candidates will be selected by a selection committee on the basis of written entrance examination. List of candidates selected/admitted will be displayed on the website and will be informed through email and phone calls.
In the entrance examination the candidates will be asked 50 multiple choice objective questions, to be answered in one and half hours. The question paper will have questions from general psychology, clinical psychology, social psychology and abnormal psychology, statistics, research methods.
How to Apply:
Duly filled application form (to be downloaded from the university website www.gfsu.edu.in) with a demand draft of Rs. 1000/- (non-refundable), in favor of “The Registrar, Gujarat Forensic Sciences University”, should reach to the address given below on or before 30th June 2011. True copies of the documents listed below must be attached with the application form:
Copy of Final mark sheet of M.A. /M.Sc degree/ MPsy in Clinical Psychology
Copy of School leaving certificate
Duly filled admit card (original)
Reference letter and No Objection Certificate (NOC) from Head of the Department (for in-service candidates)
Copy of Cast Certificate
Entrance examination venue:
The entrance test will be held on 11th July, 2011 (11.30 A.M.) at IBS, Gujarat Forensic Sciences University campus, Near Police Bhavan, Sector 18/A, Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
