Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) invites application for B.Ed Course for academic session January 2012
Eligibility:
1. A Bachelor’s degree or a Higher Degree with fifty (50%) percent marks from a recognized University. However, the requirement of 50% marks shall not apply to the teachers appointed prior to the commencement of NCTE Regulation Norms and Procedures, second amendment regulation dated 30.03.2010 and Gazette Notification dt. 26/07/2010.
2. Serving teachers with two years (2 years) full time teaching experience in a Government or Government Recognized School.
3. The reservation for SC/ST/OBC and other categories shall be as per the rules of the Central/State Government whichever is applicable. There shall be relaxation of 5% marks for them.
Candidates who have appeared in the qualifying examination (Bachelors/Higher Degree) and the results are awaited can also apply.
The admission to this programme is on the basis of an Entrance Test to be conducted on Sunday August 21, 2011 at all India level.
How to Apply:
Student Handbook & Prospectuscan be obtained from the Registrar (SRD), IGNOU, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi-110068 and from all the Regional Centres of IGNOU whose addresses are given below, by sending a sum of Rs. 550/- through a Demand Draft/IPO in favour of IGNOU payable at New Delhi/city of concerned Regional Centre or by paying Rs. 500/- in cash at the respective sale counters. Please write your name and address on the back of the DD/IPO. Last date for receipt of request for ‘PROSPECTUS’ by post is 30th June, 2011 Application form and prospectus can also be downloaded from the website: www.ignou.ac.in and sent along with a DD/IPO for Rs.550/- in favour of IGNOU payable at New Delhi in case of Management Programme, and concerned Regional Centre in case of Bachelor of Education Programme by Registered/Speed Post to:
1.Registrar (SED), IGNOU Maidan Garhi, New Delhi-110068 Management Programme
2.Concerned Regional Centre Bachelorof Education Programme Prospectus will be sent to such applicants after receipt of Rs. 550/ as explained above.
Important Dates:
Filled-in form should be submitted at the concerned Regional Centre under whose jurisdiction the school where he/she is working falls on or before 15th July, 2011.
