About the course: - The course is of 26 weeks duration being conducted by this institute. The course content covers complete operation and maintenance of Transmission & Distribution Systems, as per the syllabus of Indian Electricity Rule (Rule-3) for Transmission & Distribution.

Eligibility:
Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent in Electrical / Electrical and Electronics / Electrical & Power.
Note: Core branch is Electrical Engineering.
Age: For non sponsored candidates: maximum 27 years; as on 01-09-2011. Age relaxation in case of reserved category
is as per Govt. norms. No age limit for sponsored candidates.
Selection Criteria:
Degree Percentage of marks in BE / B. Tech. or equivalent examination.
Total Seats: 50 (Fifty).
Reservation for SC/ST/OBC/PH as per Govt. norms.25% seats reserved for sponsored candidates. In case seats are falling vacant in sponsored category, same will be filled up by non-sponsored candidates.
How to Apply:
Application form as per Annexure “A” along with the check list for documents- Annexure “B” & undertaking as per Annexure “C”( for sponsored candidates only) is to be downloaded & filled in with relevant details. Filled in application form along with attested copies of testimonials as per check list for documents with a Demand Draft of Rs. 500/- in favor of “NPTI, Nagpur” payable at “Nagpur”, should reach The Principal Director (address given below) latest by 15/07/2011 with one 5”x 10” self addressed envelope. Envelope containing the application form and other documents should be marked “Application For T & D Course- 2011” along with candidate’s postal address.
Fees : - 1) Rs. 120,000/- (in two equal installment) for nonsponsored candidates. First installment at the time of counseling for confirmation of admission.
2) Rs. 1,50,000/- for sponsored candidates (in one installment) at the time of counseling for confirmation of admission.
